Qualifications & Preferred Background:
- Hold a current Occupational Therapist license in the state of Maine
- Previous experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare settings such as home health highly desirable
- Knowledge of OT best practices for school-aged children
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Comfortable working onsite and interacting face-to-face with students and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans for students as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Document sessions, maintain student records, and conduct ongoing assessments
- Foster independence and functional success in school activities
- Engage in team meetings and contribute to IEP development as appropriate
- Deliver therapy on-site across 2-3 days per week
