Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current California OT license
- Previous experience providing OT services within schools strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt services to meet diverse student needs
- Experience with IEPs and goal development a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete assessments and deliver targeted occupational therapy services to students as needed
- Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educational staff and families
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering expert insight to support student learning and participation
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school guidelines
- Provide recommendations for modifications to classroom environments and supports
- Serve as a valuable resource for teachers and families regarding strategies and best practices
