Key Qualifications:
- Active OT license through the North Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy (NCBOT)
- Post-graduate OT degree (Master’s preferred)
- Demonstrated school-based OT experience beyond fieldwork; NC-specific experience preferred
- Proficiency with ECATS and developing/implementing IEPs
- Familiarity with SPM-2 and Sensory Profile 2, as well as other standardized assessments
- Strong understanding of functional OT skills within educational settings
- Required background checks, fingerprinting, and NPI/NC Tracks registration
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive OT services across multiple sites on the western side of Wake County
- Conduct motor screenings, OT evaluations, and document all interventions
- Apply assessment results to support students’ educational programs
- Collaborate with school teams, families, and educational staff
- Adhere to district workload model, reassessed monthly
