Desired Qualifications
- Active North Carolina Occupational Therapy license (NCBOT)
- Post-graduate OT degree; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of one year of school-based OT experience (North Carolina experience highly valued)
- Proficient with ECATS and IEP case management
- Experience conducting therapy, documenting services, and conducting motor screenings/evaluations
- Competence using the Sensory Processing Measure–2 (SPM-2) and Sensory Profile 2
- Familiar with standardized assessments and applying/interpreting results within an educational context
- Eligible for NPI and NC Tracks registration
- Able to pass DCDEE fingerprinting and background check
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students under a workload model
- Perform assessments and screenings tailored to educational objectives
- Document services thoroughly and manage caseload efficiently
- Contribute to IEPs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Travel to multiple school sites within western Wake County
- Attend prescreening with the district’s designated coordinator prior to assignment
