What you’ll bring:
- Active North Carolina Occupational Therapist license required
- Previous experience working in a school setting is highly recommended
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to evaluate and adapt treatment strategies to individual needs
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development
What you’ll do:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, supporting their access to educational activities
- Assess students’ functional abilities and develop individualized intervention plans
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure coordinated support
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports as required by educational standards
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering insights into student needs and progress
- Adapt and modify materials or classroom environments to support learning and participation
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education relevant to pediatric and school-based OT
Contract details:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, onsite only (teletherapy not available)
- Assignment runs ASAP through May 21, 2027
