School Occupational Therapist - Castle Rock, Colorado

This role focuses on providing comprehensive occupational therapy services to a diverse K-12 population, whether in traditional school settings or in-home teletherapy. With both full-time (37.5 hours/week) and unique part-time options (60 minutes/month for in-home services), you’ll play an integral part in supporting students’ educational and therapeutic needs.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado Occupational Therapist license and Teaching Certificate (CDE)
- Experience in school-based OT, teletherapy, home health, or healthcare environments
- Solid understanding of delivering OT services within an IEP process, including writing goals, conducting evaluations, and completing associated paperwork
- Ability to manage a caseload model across multiple school sites (itinerant travel required)
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect OT services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct evaluations, participate actively in IEP meetings, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate paperwork, upholding district and state guidelines
- Flexible service delivery—transition between in-person, in-home, and teletherapy as needed
- Adapt intervention strategies to a range of student needs, from early elementary to high school
- Offer consultative support to school staff and families
