Desired Qualifications:
- Current and valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license for New York State
- Experience working as an OT in educational settings, preferably with both elementary and junior/senior high school populations
- Knowledgeable in IEP processes and school documentation requirements
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment for all students
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services to meet students’ goals
- Develop, implement, and monitor progress on IEP-driven therapy interventions
- Conduct assessments, write reports, and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Travel between two convenient school sites, dedicating half your week to each location
- Communicate regularly with staff, parents, and other stakeholders to support optimal student outcomes
