School Occupational Therapist | Central Falls, Rhode Island

What we're seeking in a candidate:
- Active Massachusetts Occupational Therapy license (MA OT License required)
- Background in school-based OT, particularly with pediatric populations
- Experience developing and implementing IEPs for preschool and elementary students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to engage children using a range of occupational therapy strategies and interventions
Key responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and small group OT services to preschool and elementary-age students, addressing fine motor, sensory, and functional skills
- Conduct assessments and contribute to the development of IEP/504 plans
- Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to promote student progress
- Participate in student progress meetings, bringing your clinical expertise to multidisciplinary discussions
