School Occupational Therapist | Charlestown, New Hampshire

Bring your expertise as an Occupational Therapist to a dynamic contract opportunity in an educational setting. This position involves providing essential supervision for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) working with students across the district. Two licensed OTs are needed to ensure compliance and support high-quality therapy services for the 2026/2027 school year.
In this role, you will:
- Oversee the work of up to two COTAs, supporting them in delivering therapy in line with best practices and district requirements
- Conduct on-site supervision sessions totaling about 7 hours per COTA each month
- Complete required supervision paperwork and document each interaction for compliance purposes
- Engage in ongoing collaboration with district staff and COTAs to facilitate effective occupational therapy interventions
- Provide expert guidance, serve as a resource, and help maintain exceptional service standards in school-based therapy delivery
Desired qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in New Hampshire
- Demonstrated experience in supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants within the state
- Proven background in school-based occupational therapy practice
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build professional relationships with COTAs and school staff
Additional information:
- This position is 100% on-site at district schools located near Charlestown, NH, within Claremont
- Each OT will work up to 20 hours per month, depending on assigned COTAs
- Travel mileage is reimbursed according to the current IRS rate for actual miles traveled to and from the district
- Pay: Earn $90 per hour as a contract OT in this supervisory position
