Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to support an elementary school in Barnstead, New Hampshire, for the 2026–2027 school year. This school-based opportunity is ideal for an OT who enjoys working with elementary-aged students and collaborating with educators and related service professionals to help students participate successfully in their school environment.
The selected Occupational Therapist will provide individualized services, support students' functional and educational needs, and contribute to the development and implementation of IEP goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to elementary students
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments as needed
- Develop and implement individualized OT goals and interventions
- Monitor student progress and adjust services as appropriate
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Consult with teachers and school staff regarding accommodations and classroom strategies
- Maintain accurate therapy documentation and progress records
Qualifications
- Active New Hampshire Occupational Therapist license required
- School-based or pediatric OT experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, educators, and related service providers
Experience
- Previous school-based Occupational Therapy experience preferred
- Experience working with elementary-aged students is a plus
Education
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
