Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Active OT state licensure
- Proven experience delivering occupational therapy services in school environments
- Understanding of IEPs, ESY support, and compensatory service delivery
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct OT services to students during ESY (June through the first week of August)
- Address both routine ESY needs and deliver compensatory services as identified for students
- Conduct assessments, document progress, and develop effective intervention plans
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to maximize student access to the curriculum
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with legal and district requirements
- Adapt service delivery and schedule based on student needs and district priorities
- Participate in meetings as needed to discuss students’ progress and needs
This contract position offers weekday scheduling Monday through Thursday, with flexibility on daily hours to suit your lifestyle and commitments.
