Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Hold (or be eligible for) South Carolina licensure for SLPs
- Strong understanding of school-based therapy, including assessment and individualized intervention planning
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families
- Previous school or pediatric experience preferred
- Commitment to maintaining compliance with IDEA, IEP requirements, and district-specific protocols
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, in-person speech-language pathology services to K-12 students (specific caseload to be confirmed)
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans tailored to each learner’s needs
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary IEP meetings as the speech expert
- Provide direct therapy, progress monitoring, and ongoing documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to maximize student success
- Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation promptly
