Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based occupational therapy interventions for students as part of the ESY program.
- Assess students’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans to address identified needs.
- Provide compensatory OT services to address any gaps resulting from the school year.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other related service providers to ensure a comprehensive approach to student support.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services rendered, progress notes, and compliance with special education regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute professional insights to inform student programming.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state.
- Prior experience working in school settings, specifically with diverse student populations.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with special education processes and individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Ability to adapt to varied student needs in both group and one-on-one sessions.
