Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active IL Occupational Therapy license
- Prior school-based occupational therapy experience preferred
- Proficiency with writing and implementing IEPs
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify student needs related to sensory, fine motor, and daily living skills
- Develop, document, and monitor individualized goals and interventions as part of the IEP process
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other related service providers
- Deliver evidence-based therapy services, both individually and in small group settings, throughout the school year
- Maintain up-to-date documentation, progress reports, and data collection
- Offer consultative support and classroom strategies to teachers
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team planning and decision-making
