Key Qualifications & Skills:
- Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapy Assistant is required
- Previous experience providing OT or OTA services in a school setting preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt therapeutic activities to meet a wide variety of student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students according to individualized education plans
- Evaluate students’ functional abilities and participate in eligibility assessment processes
- Develop, implement, and document goals, interventions, and treatment plans
- Partner with teachers, parents, and support staff to support students’ learning and independence
- Contribute to IEP meetings and help shape learning environments for greater accessibility and success
