School Occupational Therapist - Colorado Springs, Colorado
Bring your expertise as an Occupational Therapist to a dynamic school setting in the Colorado Springs area, supporting students across multiple K-12 campuses for the 2025-26 academic year. Qualifications
- Current Colorado Occupational Therapist license and valid teaching certification (CDE)
- Experience in school-based, home health, teletherapy, and/or broader healthcare OT environments
- Familiarity with typical OT responsibilities, including IEP development, evaluations, and documentation
- Ability to efficiently manage a caseload model serving multiple schools and age groups (K-12)
- Comfortable providing both in-person and virtual services, as required
- Professional, organized, and able to collaborate effectively with educators and families
Role Responsibilities
- Implement direct and indirect OT services for students in accordance with their IEPs
- Conduct evaluations, write reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Adapt therapy approaches for a variety of settings: schools, homes, and virtual platforms
- Work collaboratively with school teams to support student access and engagement
- Provide itinerant services across assigned campuses, with paid travel time
- Maintain clear documentation and adhere to district policies and caseload guidelines
