What We’re Looking For:
- Active Occupational Therapy license with eligibility to practice in the state
- Previous experience delivering OT services in schools, home health, or healthcare settings
- Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and goal development for school-aged children
- Excellent ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate therapy programs across diverse settings
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills to interact with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility to adapt strategies for a range of developmental, sensory, and physical needs
- Organizational skills to maintain documentation, scheduling, and compliance with school policies
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Evaluate and assess students to determine individual therapy needs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster students’ success in academic and daily functioning
- Design and implement customized intervention plans in both classroom and home settings
- Conduct therapy sessions using evidence-based practices tailored to each student’s unique goals
- Provide training and resources for families and educational personnel as needed
- Track student progress, document session notes, and participate in IEP meetings
- Travel between school and home environments, as required by student caseload
