This full-time, onsite contract position will address the evolving needs of the student community, with anticipated openings due to an upcoming retirement in October as well as maternity leaves in December and March. Multiple positions are available, and your caseload preferences are welcome—tailoring your assignment to best fit your strengths and interests.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapy (OT) license is required.
- Experience working in a school-based environment strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of strategies and interventions for supporting students with diverse needs.
- Collaborative communication skills to interact positively with students, educators, and families.
- Ability to adapt to changing caseloads and student needs throughout the school year.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to students as prescribed by their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Evaluate students’ abilities, develop treatment plans, and maintain thorough documentation.
- Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to promote student engagement and independence.
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on individualized educational and therapeutic strategies.
- Flexibly manage caseload adjustments as new team needs arise.
