Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR) licensure from the Texas Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners (ECPTOTE)
- Strong background providing OT services in school settings
- Experience managing a varied caseload across multiple grade levels, preferably K-12
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Collaborative mindset to partner with educators, support staff, and families
- Ability to adapt and problem-solve within dynamic environments
Role Highlights:
- Serve a caseload of approximately 45–60 students, with assignments determined by individual service minutes
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based occupational therapy interventions onsite
- Assess students’ needs and develop personalized treatment plans to support functional participation in educational settings
- Collaborate with special education teams to integrate OT into students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough records and progress reports in compliance with district and regulatory standards
- Support student transitions and participate in team meetings as a valued resource
