Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Georgia, or eligible for licensure
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, though strong candidates from clinical backgrounds are encouraged to apply
- Knowledge of IEP processes and comfort collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and provide direct occupational therapy services to students, supporting a variety of needs and abilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise and recommendations to ensure student success
- Maintain comprehensive and timely records of interventions, progress, and outcomes
- Educate school staff and families on strategies to reinforce progress and promote independence
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other specialists to integrate therapy into school routines
