This position offers the opportunity to work across multiple schools from now through June 9, 2027, giving you a robust school-based experience with a diverse student population. You’ll deliver therapeutic services that make a measurable difference in students’ academic, social, and emotional development throughout a 190-day school year.
Your impact will be felt daily as you collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized plans and help students reach their full potential. Qualifications & Background Desired:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current OT licensure in Oregon (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience in school settings (K-12 preferred)
- Knowledge of IEP process, IDEA, and best practices in school-based OT
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively manage a caseload across multiple sites
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ motor, sensory, and functional skills to guide intervention planning
- Develop and implement evidence-based OT strategies in collaboration with teachers and staff
- Contribute to IEP meetings and documentation, ensuring compliance and alignment with each student’s needs
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor progress towards individualized goals
- Train and support school staff and families in recommended accommodations and activities
- Travel between school sites as required
