Exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to make an impact within a highly regarded K-12 school district near Danbury, CT. This contract position is available immediately through early December, offering a consistent schedule from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Work collaboratively in a supportive environment, providing essential therapy services to students across a range of ages and abilities.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Connecticut OT or COTA license required.
- Experience working in a school-based setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and students.
- Compassionate, adaptable, and dedicated to supporting student success from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and deliver occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support academic and functional achievement.

- Maintain accurate documentation and attend IEP meetings as needed.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions to maximize outcomes.
