Key Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts Occupational Therapy License required
- Experience within school settings, particularly with K-8 populations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and educators
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs and related documentation
- Ability to work independently across multiple classrooms/settings as needed
Role Overview:
- Deliver OT services to K-8 students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs) and district goals
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ needs and develop treatment plans tailored to their abilities
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, other professionals, and caregivers on strategies and accommodations
- Maintain thorough documentation on student progress and session outcomes
- Participate in team meetings, contributing expertise to support student success
- Position runs from August 19, 2026 to June 18, 2027
- Schedule: 3 days per week, totaling 24 hours each week
