Occupational Therapist School Setting - Doylestown, PA

Seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist with strong experience in school-based settings for a contract role supporting preschool learners. This opportunity focuses on Early Intervention (EI) and Extended School Year (ESY) services in the Lower Bucks County region, including Morrisville, Yardley, and Newtown. The assignment will follow the 2026-2027 school calendar, starting in early July and running through mid-June, with part-time summer hours and increased hours during the regular academic year based on referrals.
Qualifications:
- Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, meeting all state-mandated requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience specifically within school settings (new graduates are not eligible)
- Familiarity with Early Intervention and preschool caseloads
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Flexibility to work part-time in the summer and adjust to increased hours during the school year
- Commitment to supporting young learners’ functional growth and engagement
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Early Intervention and ESY occupational therapy services to preschool students in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate progress documentation
- Travel between sites in the Lower Bucks County area as needed
- Ensure timely communication regarding student progress and needs
