This role spans the Extended School Year (ESY) into the 2026-2027 school calendar, partnering with early intervention programs in the Morrisville, Yardley, and Newtown areas. Desired Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy license meeting all state requirements
- Minimum of one year of experience providing OT services within a school environment (new graduates are not eligible)
- Experience or enthusiasm for working with preschool children in early intervention settings
- Familiarity with IEP processes and best practices in school occupational therapy
- Adaptability and strong communication skills to liaise with school teams and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based OT interventions to preschool-aged students across designated sites
- Assess student needs, develop treatment plans, and participate in IEP meetings
- Document services and progress, maintaining accurate and timely records
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and related service staff to optimize student outcomes
- Adjust strategies and plans as necessary throughout the ESY and school year, as new referrals are received
Position Details & Benefits:
- Contract begins July 6, 2026 and runs through June 11, 2027 (following school calendar)
- Part-time (approximately 15 hours/week) during summer, with potential for increased hours during the academic year as caseload grows
- Focus on preschool caseload, working in child-centered environments
