Desired Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapist licensure in Ohio
- Recent experience as an OT in a K-12 school-based setting preferred
- Familiarity with the IEP process and effective goal setting for students
- Strong ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and support teams
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to implement tailored interventions and adapt services as needed
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a positive school presence
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment sessions
- Provide recommendations for classroom modifications and adaptive equipment
- Contribute positively to a nurturing and inclusive school culture
