Occupational Therapist School Setting in Elkton, MD

Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license
- Previous experience providing OT services in school settings preferred
- Expertise in developing and implementing IEPs, goal setting, and documentation for students K-12
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work closely with educators, families, and other support staff
- Ability to adapt strategies and interventions for a diverse student population
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students, supporting their educational goals
- Assess and document student needs, progress, and outcomes
- Consult with teachers and families to recommend classroom modifications and supports
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Develop engaging individualized and group interventions tailored to student needs
