Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Virginia
- Skills in school-based OT, home health, and teletherapy
- Experience developing and implementing IEPs
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Dedication to fostering student development in various environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students across multiple school locations
- Assess, plan, and execute interventions tailored to individual needs in both group and one-on-one settings
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to documentation using the district’s system (training provided)
- Provide indirect services such as administrative tasks, collaboration with staff, and family communication
- Offer professional supervision if required (for OT/PT/SLP roles)
- Engage in paid team meetings and contribute meaningfully to the district’s initiatives
