Key Qualifications:
- Active and valid North Carolina Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
- Experience in school-based OT positions strongly preferred
- Proven ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
- Adaptability and strong communication skills
- OTR certification in good standing
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to K-12 students, supporting their academic success and functional independence
- Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans and IEPs based on student needs and teacher collaboration
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ motor skills, coordination, sensory processing, and participation in the school environment
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to foster student engagement and growth
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reports
- Engage families and educators in strategies to support student development
- Flexibility to serve across multiple sites or respond to changing caseload needs as directed
This full-time contract offers a consistent 37.5 hours per week from August 11, 2026, through May 21, 2027.
