Qualifications & Experience:
- Active North Carolina Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
- Strongly prefer prior experience working in school-based settings
- Proven ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop individualized plans
- Equally comfortable working independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Effective communication and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess student needs and develop targeted interventions to support educational participation
- Create and implement individualized occupational therapy plans aligned with IEPs
- Consult regularly with teachers, administrators, and families to monitor progress and update strategies
- Document services and maintain accurate records as required by the school and district guidelines
- Contribute expertise during team meetings and planning sessions
- Provide training or guidance to educational staff as needed to support student success
This role is onsite only, ensuring you have direct interaction and connection with students and staff each day in a collaborative educational community.
