Four dedicated professionals are needed for the 26/27 school year to provide essential services across elementary and secondary campuses. With 37.5 hours per week and a well-structured caseload—calculated by direct service minutes—this position enables you to truly focus on students’ growth and success.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Washington Occupational Therapist license
- Valid Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification
- Prior experience in school-based OT settings is highly preferred
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to multiple school sites and a diverse student population
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct OT services, providing 900-950 service minutes per week, typically distributed across 4-5 schools
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement intervention plans, and actively participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student goals
- Adapt materials and modify the classroom environment to promote student independence and access
- Document services, monitor progress, and maintain compliance with district and state guidelines
