Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license required for Indiana
- Experience or strong interest in school-based therapy (K-12)
- Familiarity with working in multiple school settings or with varied age groups is a plus
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches for different student populations and environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to students at two school locations, aligning interventions with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to assess student needs and monitor progress
- Implement therapeutic strategies that promote student independence, sensory-motor skills, and classroom participation
- Document all sessions, assessments, and communications to ensure compliance and effective case management
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to multidisciplinary teams, and provide training as needed to school personnel
