Occupational Therapist School Setting - Franklin, MA

Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Massachusetts
- Experience with school-based OT services preferred
- Understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by elementary-aged students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers
- Ability to develop and implement individualized plans tailored to student abilities
- Familiarity with current best practices in pediatric and school-based occupational therapy
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to elementary students with a range of physical, developmental, or sensory needs
- Assess and document student progress, modifying interventions as needed
- Collaborate with teachers and educational staff to create supportive strategies for student participation
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary goal planning
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to district and state compliance guidelines
- Educate families and caregivers on techniques to promote skill development
