Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Organizational skills to manage caseloads and maintain thorough documentation
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to identify barriers to educational success related to fine motor skills, sensory integration, or daily living activities
- Design and deliver effective, age-appropriate OT interventions, both one-on-one and in small groups
- Work closely with IEP teams, contribute to the development of goals, and monitor student progress
- Educate teachers and caregivers on strategies to support students’ functional abilities in the classroom
- Maintain accurate service records in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
