Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Active North Carolina OT license required
- OTR credential
- Previous school-based or pediatric OT experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to manage caseloads and documentation efficiently
- Positive, solution-focused approach
- Proficient with IEPs and goal setting
- Willingness to adapt therapy to classroom environments
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and create individualized treatment plans for students, potentially across multiple schools
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure students’ needs are met
- Implement direct therapy sessions and consultative services
- Monitor and track student progress, updating goals and documentation as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
Assignment Details:
- Full-time hours: 37.5 per week
- Contract dates: August 11, 2026 – May 21, 2027
