Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current and active OT license in North Carolina (required)
- Prior experience in school-based Occupational Therapy highly preferred
- Knowledge of IEP processes, pediatric evaluations, and assorted treatment modalities
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines and with families
- Flexibility to support multiple campuses or caseloads, as needed
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver OT assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring for K-12 students
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert input to create meaningful goals
- Document sessions, maintain compliance with educational and clinical standards
- Provide consultative support to teachers, staff, and families regarding student needs
- Adapt sessions and materials to individual learning styles, challenges, and goals
- Collaborate with school partners on both direct and indirect services to best serve students
