Skills & Qualifications:
- Hold an active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in North Carolina
- Degree from an accredited OT program (OTR)
- Prior experience providing OT services in a school setting is strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development and documentation
- Effective communicator, comfortable engaging with students, teachers, and families
- Adaptable and resourceful, able to manage a varied caseload and maintain compliance
- Committed to evidence-based practice and continuous professional growth
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students according to their IEPs
- Conduct assessments, observations, and collaborate on the development of goals and interventions
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise to educational teams
- Adapt activities and materials as needed to support student access and participation
- Collaborate across multiple school sites if needed
