Qualifications:
- Current license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state or immediate eligibility
- Experience in school-based settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Understanding of IEP processes and documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ abilities and develop individualized therapy plans tailored to optimize participation and daily living skills
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services in both one-on-one and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support classroom and home carryover of therapeutic strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to help establish goals and document progress
- Maintain thorough and timely records compliant with state and federal education regulations
