School Occupational Therapist | Genoa, Colorado

You will work predominantly with elementary-aged students, and have the chance to support a small number of students with significant developmental needs. The weekly schedule is designed for flexibility and variety—spending four days within the main district and one day with a neighboring location, providing a diverse experience working with students and staff across settings.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license (OT) in Colorado
- Previous experience in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, adaptability, and organizational skills
- Comfort and compassion working with students with varying abilities, including those with more severe developmental challenges
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students, ensuring adherence to IEP goals
- Conduct assessments and help develop individualized plans for designated students
- Document services provided and student progress in accordance with school district policies
- Participate in meetings with educational teams and families
- Support students in both general and special education settings, adapting interventions as needed
- Travel locally between assigned school sites
