This opportunity is ideal for a dedicated Occupational Therapist eager to support both K-12 and elementary learners in diverse learning environments, including a Montessori and a home school support campus. This contract position is .8 FTE (30 hours per week), running from August 31 through June 17. In this in-person only role, your expertise will directly impact children who thrive with skilled OT intervention.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Occupational Therapy license for Washington state
- Previous experience in school-based OT strongly preferred
- Ability to effectively serve both elementary and K-12 aged students
- Proficiency in creating and implementing IEP goals and documentation
- Strong communication skills for working with families, staff, and students
- Flexibility to travel between two school sites
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative OT services to students with a range of needs
- Assess students and contribute to multidisciplinary IEP teams
- Develop individualized therapy plans and track progress
- Work closely with teachers and families for seamless student support
- Participate in team meetings and professional development when needed
