Multiple positions available:
- One role covers two consecutive leaves (elementary, full-year, 35+ hours/week).
- The other is a full-time elementary school maternity leave (October–April, 35+ hours/week).
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Illinois OT license (or ability to obtain)
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new settings and teams
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multi-disciplinary teams
- Develop and implement effective IEPs and student plans
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and district guidelines
- Foster student independence and participation in the school environment
