What You'll Bring:
- Current Virginia Occupational Therapy License
- Experience or strong interest in school-based occupational therapy
- Ability to conduct and document thorough, student-centered evaluations
- Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with students, staff, and families
- Adaptability to serve students across a wide range of ages and needs (K-12th)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for students as requested throughout the school year
- Interpret findings and communicate recommendations clearly to IEP teams and families
- Contribute to the development of appropriate strategies and accommodations to help each student succeed in the classroom
- Maintain meticulous records and comply with all ethical, legal, and district standards for documentation
- Collaborate with other school professionals to ensure coordinated, student-focused care
