Compensation Starting At:
OTs: $45/hour
Travelers: $58/hour equivalent
Higher rates available based on experience and assignment details
Hours: Full-time, 37.5–40 hours/week
Assignment: 2026–2027 School Year
About the Role
ProCare Therapy is partnering with school districts in the Gages Lake area to hire a School Occupational Therapist for a travel assignment. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping students develop the skills necessary for academic success and independence.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
• Complete evaluations and assessments to determine service needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor progress
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance records
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations regarding student needs
Caseload Details
• Setting: K–12 School-Based
• Caseload size: District determined
• Focus areas: Fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-help skills, and classroom participation
• Number of schools: One or more schools depending on district needs
Qualifications
• Active Illinois Occupational Therapy license (or eligibility to obtain)
• School-based experience preferred
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
