Qualifications:
- Active Illinois OT or COTA license (must be current and submitted with your application)
- Experience within a school-based setting preferred
- Ability to adapt practice to serve a diverse group of students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to working onsite throughout the assignment
Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services to K-12 students (caseload and grades to be determined)
- Participate in full-time hours (35 hours/week), supporting students’ educational and developmental needs
- Attend required orientation from August 12-14
- Document sessions and progress in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and student families
- Maintain compliance with all local and state occupational therapy regulations
