Desired Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of Illinois
- Prior experience in a school environment or with pediatric populations
- Familiarity with sensory integration therapy and developing student-centered goals
- Skilled in tracking progress and maintaining clear documentation
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to diverse student populations
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support classroom and resource room success
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and compliance with school-based documentation requirements
- Adapt therapy strategies to meet student needs in both general and special education settings
