What’s Needed:
- Valid Occupational Therapist credentials
- Previous experience in school settings highly preferred
- Skill in supporting students with a range of occupational therapy needs, including physical, cognitive, and sensory challenges
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor effective IEPs and individualized interventions
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with teachers, families, and other support staff
- Adaptable approach to working with students from kindergarten through 12th grade
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform evaluations and assessments as required
- Develop treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs and goals
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services within classrooms and related settings
- Work closely with school teams and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Contribute to a positive, nurturing, and inclusive school culture
