Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy (OT) license for Virginia (VA)
- Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to support children and adolescents with a wide range of disabilities
- Compassionate, collaborative approach to student care
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ therapy needs within an educational framework
- Design and implement individualized intervention plans based on student IEPs
- Document progress and maintain accurate records as required
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to maximize student outcomes
- Provide direct therapy services to ensure students can participate fully in school activities
- Contribute to IEP meetings and offer consultative support as needed
