Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience working in a school-based setting is preferred
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals
- Comfortable providing therapy for a diverse K-12 caseload
- Ability to adapt interventions to the unique needs of each student
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services to students on your caseload
- Assess students’ functional abilities and develop targeted treatment plans to address educational barriers
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing valuable insights to foster student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and legal guidelines
- Collaborate regularly with teachers and staff to ensure integrated support for all students
- Engage families and caregivers, offering resources and strategies for home use
