Key Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapist license valid for practice in the state
- Previous experience with school-based OT, particularly supporting K-12 students
- Familiarity with delivering both ESY and compensatory services in a school context
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Adaptable and enthusiastic about working on a PRN (as-needed) basis to support evolving caseloads
- Ability to build rapport with students, families, and school staff
Responsibilities:
- Deliver hands-on occupational therapy interventions to students, tailored to individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide in-person services during the summer, supporting ESY and compensatory needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to facilitate student participation and progress
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and reports as required
- Support students in developing fine motor, social, and daily living skills for maximum access to education
- Contribute expertise and flexibility to address immediate and emerging student needs
