Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and active Occupational Therapist license (required)
- Background working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations strongly preferred
- Experience in any of the following settings is valuable: schools, healthcare, home health, or teletherapy
- Ability to adapt therapy plans to meet IEP goals and student needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, families, and other professionals
- Detail-oriented approach to documentation and therapy records
- Comfortable using technology for therapy sessions and virtual meetings
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services tailored to students’ individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Work on-site or provide teletherapy support, as determined by district needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams
- Help assess and determine caseload needs, adapting support as assignments are clarified
- Complete required documentation and progress reports in a timely manner
- Share updates and recommendations with families and educators to enhance student outcomes
