Key Requirements:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license and certification appropriate for school-based practice
- Experience working within a school setting preferred, though energetic new graduates are also encouraged to apply
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs and supportive student plans
- Comfortable working across multiple school sites with children from diverse backgrounds and grade levels
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
- Ability to start as soon as possible and commit through the 2026/2027 school year
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop effective treatment plans and goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress records for each student served
- Offer classroom modifications, adaptive strategies, and resource recommendations to empower student engagement and independence
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development
