This full-time contract opportunity for the 25/26 school year offers the chance to serve a diverse caseload split between a Montessori campus and a high school, enriching your professional experience while supporting learners at pivotal stages of development.
You’ll be working 37.5 hours per week across two school locations, collaborating with educators and multidisciplinary teams to deliver individualized therapy that empowers students to participate fully in their educational journey.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current OT license in the state of Indiana
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy preferred
- Strong understanding of working with students in grades K-12
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families
- Skilled in managing a caseload across multiple campuses
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
- Provide direct therapy services and support for students with diverse physical, sensory, and developmental challenges
- Consult regularly with teachers, families, and school staff to integrate therapy strategies
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and attend necessary meetings to support student success
- Foster engagement in the classroom and encourage progress toward IEP goals
